FOR THE PEOPLE? BY THE PARTY??

The different reasons political parties find out to stage protests are just hilarious and the way in which they carry out their protests adds to the despair than the cause. The harthal in Kerala a couple of days back was one of the kinds. And when such things are ‘State Sponsored’ it is the worst people could get.

Some of the things people witnessed include a mother (working in LIC office) being locked up in the office and unable to feed her child, thousands of people stranded at railway stations without food, water and transportation, people (even ambulances) including doctors going to attend emergencies being blocked on their way and so on goes the list of barbaric deeds.

So what were the so called ‘Role Model Leaders’ doing at that time?
Tintumon: Yes!! Yes!! They must have been leading from the front!! Weren’t they?? (Dumbest answer we can ever get!! Duh…)

Nope! Many were attending functions and others were attending meetings in AC rooms and travelling by AC cars, while the party supporters (under the red hot sun) were having a hard time making the lives of common people a misery.

Blogs are also meant to express our opinions and I feel pity about my own state. It is a shame that such dumb things are taking place in the state with highest literacy rate!! I wouldn’t blame the Leaders! No, no, that I wouldn’t!! They are doing this for feeding their own selfish motives. But how could the literate party supporters do such a thing?? What do they attain by spoiling the day and tampering with the emotions of the general public? The only thing they achieved is the hatred of those affected people; thorough the unintelligible way of protest.

The key to the solution for this grave problem is in the hands of the party supporters who cause all the trouble hearing the words of their beloved and selfish leaders. When the supporters learn to see the things clearly then only we can hope for a civilised, meaningful and effective protest. Leaders and parties should find out new and innovative ideas to voice their protests instead of wasting the valuable time of people in this modern time imperative world.
